Initial interview was just about “culture fit” and I was told straight up that I would not be asked questions about my experience. I’m not sure how you can be rejected when no questions were asked about my background or fit for the role. I asked several questions about how their current customers receive the product and the answers were vague. Apparently there is no product roadmap, which is a red flag for any company. I would not recommend even applying to work at a company that seems to have no direction or strategic vision.
