Tell me about yourself?
There where no questions which stood out as difficult or unexpected. The entire interview process consisted of standard questions involving experience, background, intent for future development and opened ended questions asking for feedback FOR the interviewer.
Pretty straight forward stuff for retail.
In 1 minute tell me why we should choose you for the position?
None of the questions struck me a particularly difficult. Again, A+ level stuff. I do tend to struggle with the ethics questions as I feel they are trying to trap me. Since it is a retail chain, they really spend a lot of time on ethics questinos.
Q: What was an experience in which you had to deal with a difficult customer/client? How did you deal with the client?
How would you handle a difficult customer?
They ask you basic customer service questions and also asked about integrity. some of the questions I remember were "would you report if you saw someone stealing anything", "If there was a line of customers waiting on checkout and you need to clear it up but a random customer comes and asks you question, what would you do?"
