What are your greatest strengths & weaknesses?
I was asked about what the most difficult group situation was for me and how I handled it. Its a fairly typical question as firms look for a good fit. My issue was presenting a story to wow the interviewer. Its not the answer that's difficult its how you can sell yourself to your interviewer. they are a hard sell.
Not very difficult, but very good question. On campus interview: rotation direction when in north pole, transcript a decimal number to binary number, test if a height-balanced BST, reconstruct to be a high-balanced BST, difficulty encountered Coding test: airports questions, basically graph problems, Dijkstra's algorithm and DFS Onsite interview: find angle difference of a time, triangle overlap, code optimization, implement hashtable insert and retrival, your goal, most stressed time, your favorite language, your project
If you're asked about what kind of work you want to get into, just be honest. "I don't know" is acceptable when it's truthful.
Why should we hire you? What can you offer that other candidates cant? Have you ever been in a situation there the task at hand did not go according to the plan? If so how did you handle it?
If you face a situation where there is an argument between you and other team member, How will you tackle such kind of a situation?
