I received an email with a take-home assessment. The email stated that the assignment will be submitted within 48 hrs of the email received and asked the results to be sent within 2-3 days. The result never comes till 14 days pass. They don't care about giving the feedback until multiple follow up and when I followed up multiple times and they have multiple excuses. It seems like the services-based company interview process for me, is not a start-up. Seems like all the values and discussion happened at the initial stage went into the box after seeing their interview process.

There were questions about my skills and past experiences. Most of discussions were deep dives on ways to improve the search algorithm.
The questions were not data science questions. The first was an analytics problem about sales data. The second was a data engineering question. Based on the job description, I expected data science questions.
They asked me about a hypothetical everyday client request and how I would handle it.
