Honestly there were no difficult or unexpected questions. I was asked general UW questions (two) but any underwriter with experience would be able to answer.
Describe a time in which you had to make an exception to the normal rules/guidelines, what was the action you took, and what was the outcome.
Not a question, but they will ask you to go over general information including your work history/background and what your job responsibilities were, why are are looking for/applying for a new job, what is your experience level with calculating different types of income especially self-employment income.
How did you handle a situation where you didn't agree with your boss decision. Did you try to change your bosses mind, did you see it as a gray zone, or did you go along with what they said was the answer.
What Graduate Scheme have you Applied for? What interests you about Brit insurance and this scheme? Can you talk about a time when you had a complex issue or problem that needed resolving. What approach did you take to resolve it? Can you talk about a time when you have had to convince someone to come around to your way of thinking?
Standard HR type questions, not a lot of depth, lots of random chatter. Weirdly personal and inappropriate stories shared by the interviewer made the experience awkward and uncomfortable.
