The interview was fairly easy. Just relax and enjoy yourself. The interviewer was very polite and explained everything related to the business first to break the ice. Don't quite remember a lot of questions but these two I remember.

“Can you walk me through the process of preparing and reviewing a bank reconciliation, and what kind of issues you usually identify during that process?” This question is a favorite because it tests both your technical skill (accounting knowledge) and practical exposure (real-world scenarios like uncleared checks, timing differences, missing entries). Other one-liners they might throw in: “What is the difference between accrual and cash accounting?” “How do you treat prepaid expenses in the books?” “Can you explain how you would close the books at month-end?”
