The first stage is with the recruiter, usually a 30-minute phone interview to determine if you are suitable for the role. You should expect questions such as why you want to work at Bloomberg. If you pass the first interview stage, you will move to the second stage, which is a face-to-face interview with the team leader. In the second stage, the first question you should be prepared for is why you want to work at Bloomberg and why you believe you are suitable for the position. They will also ask questions such as how you manage conflict, handle stress, and prioritise your work make sure you have good examples using the STAR methodology . Additionally, they will review your CV, so be prepared to answer questions about your previous roles. If you are successful in the second stage, you will be invited to the third stage, which includes a 30-minute session shadowing a team member. This session will give you insight into the nature of the work and what they do on a day-to-day basis. Following this, you will have a 15-minute case study aimed at testing your analytical and problem-solving skills. All the questions were about conflict resolution which is odd for a tenured recruiter. Really difficult to answer. Having mastered avoiding time wasting conflict this was a red flag. Not warm or friendly at all.
