They gave me a one page financial report which only had approximately 5 columns and 7 rows of numbers. They asked me to review the report and pretend I was giving a report to the Board regarding the report. The column and row descriptions were not very clear.
In depth about accounts and the field
No technical questions. Questions were more behavioural.
My interviews were mostly behavioral and more focused on getting to know my personality to see if I was a good fit at DI. The most difficult question I received was "What is your favorite movie."
What does your availability look like for a video introduction call?
I was asked to explain how my background helps to prepare me for this role. I was quizzed on accounting concepts.
What have you done in your previous organisation
Can you tell me about your experience and the transactions that you've handled as a general accountant?
Not difficult. Just takes a while to get done. Everything is pretty straightforward but you need to be computer literate. Not to mention using excel and making a list using a laptop without numeric keypad.
