An engineer from the team will ask question about you and try to test your skills (python, shell, docker, k8s, ansible, terraform is important) Second interview is a technical on hackerrank it consists of 2-3 questions first is shell programming (asks from you to change the content of k8s yaml) others are programming questions which you can use any PL supported. For the second interview you have 70 min to complete
Technical + HM First he tried to understand how the infra is at my current company, then asked followup questions on design level. Topics: SQS vs Kafka, ASW Cost Management Strategy at my org, then asked to share some prod incidents that I have faced.
I was asked to design an AWS coupled infra for deploying an FE/BE and DB app. I was then asked followup ques on VPC, subnet, NAT, CloudFront etc. Also some light questions on K8s debugging 504 error.
