I have an academic background and I am trying to move to industry. They asked multiple times why I am switching to industry. I also got a lot of non-data science questions, such as basic algorithms questions (sorting, binary trees, time complexity, etc). So it is a good idea to prepare for both. They gave a scenario and ask me to tell a story from my experience that resembles that scenario (these are related to Amazon leadership skills).

Square root, without using any library, solves the problem of how we can obtain the square root of a given integer
1) introducing my own previous project, give a small presentation for one of it, asking project details 2) behavioral questions, about my experiences on working with/mentoring other people. 3) Leetcode question, very simple, leetcode easy. 4) tech questions, asking some knowledge about RoPE embedding in transformer.
What are some experiences that you have that align with Amazon's Pricnciple
All the questions are sort of textbook problems, relatively easy.
If you are not familiar with problems they are interested or problems they are solving, sometimes you would feel that some questions are like coming out from nowhere. It's hard to prepare for.
