They asked the basic questions like name a time when you disagreed with a colleague and where do you see yourself in 5 years. The 2nd and 3rd interview were more technical and more about my background and qualifications.

Scenario based questions on what will be the solution to build an event based microservices architecture interacting with integration application
First technical round is scheduled within 2 weeks. Interviewed by 2 architects for around 2 hours. System Design, architecture, Spring, Microservices, Java are topics. Couple of use cases are given to solve. Second technical round : done by platform technology architect for around an hour. Gave a use case and asked to design and explain end to end. Never heard any update for around 3 weeks. Sent mail for an update. HR scheduled and rolled an offer immediately.
The interviewer appeared Technical Architect and relied on general scenario based questions which were either deliberately tried to muffled or he was handicapped in articulation . While replying , I tested him by also specifying how its done in my technology and was caught when he misunderstood/confused terms for 'configuration' , constructs , IDE etc used in the COTS product. My fault was that I lost my patience and became loud-mouthed and sarcastic , even started cross-questioning. While I don't blame the interviewer , I think HR/Management should at least be transparent with senior people when all other companies are upfront and candid about normal queries.
