I was shown a short Java program, asked what it would do, and then shown it did something totally different. The interviewer then said, "Don't worry, this is a tricky problem no one gets right the first time. How would you figure this out?" I would step through it in a debugger, I replied. "Fine, let's do that." The interviewer watch as I debugged the program and figured out why it was acting so weird. He got to see how I approached problems and that I knew my way around a debugger.
Interviewers are really nice people.
they ask you very thorough coding questions. you got to know your stuff!

There wasn't really a difficult question, they seemed to expect you to know Java though even though it's a PHP position really.
Am CSE student so I got programming related questions like 1. Write a programming to reverse the string without in built fn 2. Questions on OOPS concepts Mainly they test ability to write code.. They expect confidence to write the code. Don't worry if u r not sure about your ans..just b bold to ans.. Ptogramming They will train u accordingly in training period
