As of right now I have not been asked any difficult questions. Everything thus far has been very reasonable and expected. I gather that the difficult interview questions come with the final phase of the interview when you are scheduled for the 30 minute role-play event.
Adjuster Interview Questions
6,004 adjuster interview questions shared by candidates
For me, the most difficult/unexpected questions were those directly involving the role. For example, "You quote a car for 5 hours labor, but the body shop thinks it should be 9. Please explain in detail how you would respond to this." Or "Your supervisor wants to meet an average of 22 labor hours per month and you average 21, putting you in the middle. What would your response be?"
None of the questions were difficult or unexpected. They were about what you'd expect for this position.
I have never been to an interview like this and thought I did well to handle the stress and multi-tasking but didn't get the job. Couldn't believe they would actually role-play the entire 3-4 hours and never asked a single normal interview question. (They asked the normal questions during phone interviews) Tell me a time when...you dealt with stress or had to negotiate a difficult sale.
