I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (Dublín, Dublín) in Feb 2024
Interview
First call is with a recruiter and describes the stages of the interview process. Next you share your availability for the next 2 weeks and they schedule an interview with engineering manager. This is more of a non technical interview. A lot questions about previous experience and scenario type questions.
Next was 30 minute technical interview with a software engineer. He posed shared a PR review of some java code and you had to talk through what was wrong or what could be improved. I was caught off guard here and did very poorly. I was notified a over a week later that they would not be proceeding with my application.
It's a very slow process unfortunately. They take at least a week to schedule the next interview.
For just 3 interviews the process took about 5 weeks.

Hiring manager did not seem to prepare the questions... he had to think for a while to come up with questions to ask . he was late for 3~4 mins and I was not sure i am in the right zoom room or not
he kept yawning and looked tired I could tell he was not really interested and just wanted to get over with the interview, the questions he was asking were very generic and he did not ask any specific questions about me
Thank you for sharing this feedback; we sincerely appreciate it. We continue to strive for an excellent candidate experience, and would welcome a follow-up with you if you're interested - please just email interview@workday.com
