I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Workday (Dublín, Dublín)
Interview
The processes had 3 steps, the first was a screening interview, a technical interview and after that would be at the company.
First Step:
- a manager calls me and asked some basic questions about OOP, like the differences between overriding and overloading, the principal topics of OOP and after that, he explained about the company. This step took 30min.
Second Step:
I needed to draw a class diagram to explain how to build a baking account, and the interviewers asked me some questions about my decisions while I was drawing. He said to draw 3 requirements. This step took 1h.
Third Step:
I don't know because I didn't pass this step.

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Workday
Interview
Interview was relatively easy. There were three rounds - one phone interview, one UML interview(screen shared), and one onsite interview. Overall, interviewers were nice; and HR was friendly and supportive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic concepts of OOP was asked - inheritance, polymorphism etc..
Design patterns and UML modelling related questions were also there.
For second round, a system's architecture was to be demonstrated in UML through an online tool(like lucidchart, gliffy).
For onsite interview, questions about previous experience and previous work.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (Irvine, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
I was told to review UML diagrams and Object Oriented Questions. I ended up having to build a full on Class Diagram, and was a little put off by that. Wasn't expecting to have to do something like that. I thought it would be just some general questions. Make sure you can build one, if you look at this position!
