I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (Dublín, Dublín) in Jun 2021
Interview
I applied online, about one week later I was contacted by a recruiter. I had a 10-minute call and discussed the expected salary and how the interview stages would be broke up.
The interview process consisted of six interviews (not as bad as you may think)
1) Manager interview to discuss the product and what the role would be about. Very casual and more of a discussion of why they thought I would fit the role.
2) Portfolio review of two projects with two product designers and one information architect.
3) Interview with frontend senior engineer. Didn't discuss anything about code instead it was about the VIBE check, which workday do to see if you are a good fit for the company and its culture.
4) Interview with a project manager around experience working with project managers and how I would work with one (had no previous experience but she was very understanding and ask me to answer hypothetically)
5) Interview with Product designer more of a meet and greet to get to know each other (very relaxed)
6) Final portfolio presentation of two of my projects with a Q&A at the end. The interview was with eight senior stakeholders.
Overall the whole process was very quick and very friendly, everyone was interested in the interview process and seemed intrigued by what I had to say.
Interviews varied between people based in the US and Ireland so some interviews were in the evening after 6:00 pm Irish time.

Question 1
Was there ever a time you got push back on a project or failed at something in a project? What did you do and how did you learn from it?
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (Pleasanton, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
3 stage interview process. Started on my university campus where I met recruiters at a career fair and had a brief 3 minute conversation with one of their product designers. I was then immediately contacted for an on-campus interview the following day. This interview lasted approximately 30 minutes with the Product Designer I spoke with earlier and her manager. During this interview, they asked general personal questions as well as casual conversation most likely to gauge if I would fit in with their culture. I also did a brief overview of one of the projects that I worked on from my portfolio.
I waited about a week and got contacted to do the final interview (known as their FRIday Interview Day) at their offices in Pleasanton, CA. They flew me out there where I stayed in a hotel the night before the interview. There were many other students , applying for various positions at Workday. We took a bus to their offices where we were served snacks, and listened to various speakers about the company and what to expect that day. Finally, we split off into our respective groups (for the positions we were interviewing for) and went for the interviews. I did 4 different interviews with various managers. This included a portfolio review, technical interview, and 2 that were more casual and conversational. After that, we all came back together, had lunch and the day ended.
