Applied online and reached out to recruiter. The position was already filled but continued to be advertised . The automatic rejection came weeks after. For a company proud in revolutionizing the HR space, you would expect somewhat better. Apart from that, going through Workday platform for other applications, feels like a chore. Every time it doesn't pick up my data and I have to fill in manually; it doesn't look that great either. I have noticed I get called back relatively less even for roles I am the perfect candidate. I wonder how this can be the leading HR platform.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (Pleasanton, CA) in Feb 2017
Interview
I had 2 phone interviews and an additional 5 onsite interviews with separate individuals. During this round I also had a 15 minute presentation. For the second round of onsite interviews with 3 directors and the department VP. Most questions were checking for cultural fit. There was also an internal candidate in the running. I thought for sure the internal candidate would get the offer. I was delighted to get the offer. I have wanted to join Workday for a long time. Took the offer and have been happy ever since.
