I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (Pleasanton, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Completely unprofessional process that basically always a single bias opinion of ONE Workday interviewer of 8-9 interviewers to control the outcome. Where else does 1/8 equal a majority vote? Basically someone has the power in this situation to make a judgement for any reason (may not even be true) and is given power to control someone's fate of the interview. How can that be considered ethical or a professional process. Basically ONE person (who may have a personal problem with the candidate is given the power of the decison). If 1/8 people have an issue, I would say the issue is most likely 100% personal in that case. Even 2/8 would seem highly skewed.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (Boston, MA) in Aug 2015
Interview
Lengthy. A total of 5 interviews with the last one a face-to-face. Assignment (including power point) to be completed prior to face-to-face. Tons of ambiguity in the assignment.

Question 1
What did you do to prepare for your trip to interview with us?
Presentation/Test: Prior to your on-site visit, You are given a written case scenario. From the scenario, you have to make determinations and fill in some gaps and finally, create a power point presentation for a specified audience. All of that will take place at home. During your actual interview, You will be presenting to a small panel of your interviewees. Careful, they will throw questions at you in an attempt to trip you up. Nothing crazy but they want to see you operate under pressure, how you apply logical problem solving and obviously, your presentation skills.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2014
Interview
Tough process, phone interview with recruiter, then hiring manager and lastly a mock presentation to a steering committee where various Workday employees play the roles of C-level customer executives. Also had 1:1 interviews on site with 6 senior employees. Almost 4 hours of interviews that day and that was the hardest part of the day. The mock presentation was extremely challenging and I spent the better part of the day prior preparing for it.
