I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Workday in May 2021
Interview
Thier whole interview process is overrated for a company which develops on its own language. But that aside, here is the whole process I went through
1) Recruiter Screening - 30 mins
2) Hiring Manager Screening - 30 mins
3) Developer Screening - 45 mins
(Hacker rank test) Parsing a JSON payload and extracting information
4) Team virtual Onsite - 3 Hours
You meet everyone in the team for 45 mins
5) Director Interview - 30 mins
After we go through all this, they will ask your salary expectation and reject you as they cannot afford. I interviewed with the Machine Learning Group and glad I did not join as not only they were low balling, they had really some bad people who don't respect the candidate conduct Interview.
The interviewer giggles midway, did not introduce himself and was questioning only to make you feel miserable and fail. They don't have the tendency/ encourage candidate to come up with an answer or work on a solution with them.
On the whole, it's an completely overrated interview process for a mediocre company. Advice to the team: Respect your candidate as they are taking time to value you as an potential employer.

Question 1
You have to read through the complete kubernetes docs, they won't ask from your experience. Instead they will ask hidden commands, error types from the docs
Garbage collection, server logs. Draw a diagram of the system you designed. Infrastructure as a code. Pod logs. AWS questions on various services. You won't get any questions from your experience. It will all be based on the skill you mentioned and from thier official documentation. These questions are specifically designed so you fail. So good luck
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Workday (Dublín, Dublín)
Interview
I was referred by an employee and HR got in touch with me within a few days. I had my first interview in a week.
Questions range from AWS, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
I was left with the impression that I did very well on the interview, as the manager told me I'll be receiving the second wave of interviews soon, but, four days later I received an email that I have not been chosen to continue.
I feel like I've been fooled and I wasted my time here, be cautious, and don't trust anything they say during the interview.
