Interview
After knowing what my skill sets were and going through interviews, at the end they said you didn’t have the exact skill sets we were looking for. Typically in my situation employers are willing to train given I’ve had such a great breath of experience but didn’t specialize in that one area. It was an interesting and disorganized process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Workday (Dublín, Dublín) in Jan 2017
Interview
Phone Screening and then four 30 min interviews. Three in person, one over Skype.
Each interviewer had a specific trait or quality they were interviewing for, extremely positive experience. Generally they go over your experience and ask you questions about it. The questions were all in a format where Situation Action Result answers were optimal. If prepping for this interview make sure to have answers prepared ahead of time for all the common questions as tell me about: Your hardest bug, a time you were innovative, a time you learned a new skill, a time you resolved/experience conflict in a team.
