I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wipro (Bengaluru) in Sep 2011
Interview
It was very interesting but a bit tiresome since it took a full day that too on Sunday. The interview process started off at 9 a.m. with a first round of written test with four options in each question. We have to choose the correct answer and mark it in the OMR sheet which they would provide. It consists of three parts: first part test our verbal and non-verbal ability, second part test our quantitative ability and third part tests our technical core skill which could be a bit challenging like identifying the result of a program that too within the given limited time which i don't remember exactly but approximately 1 hour. If we pass this stage the next round would be technical HR round where we have to meet the company HR and answer the questions asked by them which would be completely technical so we have to be very much prepared on this since this is the round where most of them gets eliminated. Before this round we have to write one general essay and I still wonder the purpose of that. If we pass the second round the technical HR would handover a pink and white form as an indication to the next round. We will have to fill in that form and submit to the company officials which will be regarding our personal details and interested locality of post, etc. The third round is the HR round where they would examine our communication skill and body language. This is a bit easy round to clear when compared to the other two but here also there are some people who gets eliminated especially in Wipro, they consider this round very important. All in all it was a really exciting and thrilling day there. My interview process started at 9.00 a.m and got over by 7.30 p.m., for some of my other friends it got over by 1 a.m. and results were announced at 2 a.m.
