The worst interview experience I've ever had in my life. In a month, my impression of Werfen went from great to horrible.
The process started fine and normal, assessment center and then interview with the hiring manager, which took place on different days. The weird thing is a private talk later with an external psychologist before which one has to complete three personality tests online. The tests took me 3+ hours in total but, in the end, I got none feedback on them. This is pretty inappropriate.
The psychologist is Spanish and, during the 1-hour interview, I could feel she's not familiar with my culture (Werfen was looking for international profiles) and was judging me based on her own point of view. She also asked personal questions that were not job-related which would make Werfen be sued if they were in the US.
The unacceptable part was the reason they gave to reject me. They said my credentials were not strong enough, which they knew from my resume long ago, and they did not test my professional knowledge at all during the whole selection process. Also, they said that my Spanish was not okay, which contradicts to what they assured me in the beginning that this job did not require Spanish at all. The psychologist also got an analysis of me which is the most invalid conclusion of me I'd ever heard.
For me, being rejected is okay, but being treated unequally really leaves a big question mark to this company.
