I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens in May 2008
Interview
I applied through an application through a university. I received a phone call shortly after and had a phone interview. Next step was an interview with a store manager. The next interview was with the human resource person. After that there was an interview with the district manager. After the interviews were completed there was a drug test.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walgreens in Mar 2009
Interview
Because of the employee referral, the interview was very brief. I was basically asked of all my experience, and education level. I only had one interview and after the 10 to 15 questions, it was over. The total process was approximately 15 minutes. I was finally given directions to the clinic where the drug test was to be performed.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (Phoenix, AZ) in Oct 2008
Interview
If it is a retail store you are applying at...either if you shop there already that is great you know that store if not, then shop at that store during every shift available. I say this because not only will you become familiar with where things are but you can learn other things like how busy is their rush hour ire s the store clean organized and are they trying to reach each sales group at there available. Trust me this knowledge will come in handy.
