I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Relatively easy. They ask you to come in any branch for a quick test (mostly they just want to know if you can do basic math, and read coupons and promos quickly) then the face to face interview. First is with either the assistant manager or shift lead - this person does all the questioning and informs you of the salary given. Then after that, the manager interviews you for less than three minutes. Basically to inform you if you got the job or not. And to schedule your first day of training too.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Suwanee, GA) in May 2011
Interview
The hiring manager made me feel very comfortable and at ease. He was very friendly and casual at times. He made it easy for me to answer the questions so that I wasn't nervous.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (New York, NY) in Feb 2014
Interview
Very smooth and quick. You complete the competency test then the manager interviewed and hired me the same day. Mainly because the needed people though. The manager was foreign so it wasn't hard to impress her. Simple scenerio questions.
