I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walgreens (Denver, CO) in Mar 2015
Interview
I don't think mine was a typical experience because I didn't really get an interview at all. I came in to take the assessment tests -- Walgreens has you psychically go into a store to finish assessments after your online application -- and aced all of them perfectly. Apparently that doesn't happen a lot, because the ASM who was there was impressed enough to hire me on the spot after a smattering of questions about my past work experience and what I wanted to accomplish. An outside drug test and a background check later, I started within 5 days.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Kansas City, KS) in Feb 2014
Interview
It was a very straightforward interview, they asked a ton of questions about previous jobs/times when you had to over come things. Basically if you have had experience in another job and or volunteering then you should be set. My experience was very pleasant and I felt very comfortable with the process. The manager interviewed a woman right before me and we both ended up getting the job so it wasn't too competitive.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (New York, NY) in Jun 2016
Interview
The interview process was short, I applied online, went to do the assessment in store then had my first and second interview on the same day. It was receiving the decision that took quite a while. Even after taking the drug test it took 2 more weeks in order for me to start.
