I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wacker (Ámsterdam) in Feb 2022
Interview
Informal interview. Asked about my past experiences and when I could start. The manager was direct and honest. It was the most efficient interview I have ever had, which i admired.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wacker (Charleston, TN) in Oct 2023
Interview
The interview for the Silanes Process Development Engineer went very well with the hiring manager and the team, they asked a lot of personality/soft skill and some technical questions. We also laughed a lot during the interview and they took me out to lunch at the end. So all in all, I had a very positive feeling about the interview. However, 6 days later, on a Saturday afternoon, I received an AUTOMATED rejection email from the HR department, which I considered extremely rude and disrespectful after having put in so much time and effort to prepare and go for an on-site interview (I live 2.5 hrs drive away from the site). The least the hiring team could have done is notify me with a personalized email. So stay away from the Silanes Process Development Engineer and its HR team because they handle candidates in a very rude way.
