I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Vodafone (Reading, Inglaterra) in Apr 2016
Interview
The interview with the manager was fairly speedy - but HR took a while to process it all. There was also a negotiation between my old manager and new as it was an internal job - as to when i was released for the job which took a while to decide. If you move to a higher paid job in Vodafone - you do not get the same salary rate that is offered to external applicants due an internal policy.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Vodafone (Milán) in Jan 2013

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vodafone (Mumbai) in Dec 2010
Interview
The Hiring process is similar to most Indian companies- A recruitment consultant called me. I applied for the role of a product Manger for postpaid business. There were 3 rounds- one by the immediate supervisor , one by the vertical head and one by the HR line manager. The decision was taken by the immediate supervisor. The HR intreview was to gauge a basic fit of the individual with the culture of the organization and the ambition and the aspirations of the individuals.
