Started with an online pre recorded video interview, after that progressed to assessment centre which consisted of a group activity which involved coming up with tech products and then pitching that to a panel and then a 1-2-1 interview where we had a discussion and went though their set of questions
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Vodafone (Newbury, England) in Jan 2019
Interview
1. CV Submission
2. Online assessments: Verbal reasoning and visual (pattern problem solving) tests
3. Video interview: If the above tests are passed, You are invited to a video interview. This consisted of five questions asked, where are you are to record 2-3 minute answers to the questions that are provided. There is no face-to-face skype type video interview. This can be quite awkward, but you would get used to it as you go along.
4. Assessment Center: Invited to this after a couple of weeks to a month after the video interview, depending on what month you apply. (The earlier you apply for example in September, the later you will hear back inviting you to an assessment centre as I believe they only take place towards the end of the year and the beginning of the year).
This is the hardest stage as expected.
Day consists of:
1. One-on-one interview - depends on assessor, mine was thankfully very nice.
2. Group Task - hard to do well in a large group
3. Individual role-play presentation - you need to follow the breif to do well
4. Campus Tour - very large, nice campus and nice current grads to talk to.
Lunch was also provided - domino’s pizza!
Overall was enjoyable and good learning experience, took a week to hear a response. Dont be discouraged if you dont get the offer, it depends on who assesses you and your scores against other candidates who also have different assessors/tasks. Truth is you wont know whether you’ve got it until you get the email/call outcome, so be patient.
A half day with, 3 different exercises, one team-based, and two one 1 to 1's with a question time with one of the graduates. (Remember to show enthusiasm throughout the whole process and ask questions)
A set of assessments and a virtual AI interview had a few obvious questions and the assessment was simple to be fair just like an IQ test. Havent done the second stage yet but am excited to do so as seems chill.
