I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Vodafone in Oct 2020
Interview
I was contacted via a jobs board by a Vodafone recruiter.
A first phone screen was arranged. This appeared to go well. He said my details would be put on their internal jobs board and I’d get a confirmatory email. When I didn’t receive one, I chased up. I was told I should get this the coming Friday. I didn’t. I chased again. Repeat for 3 weeks.
Sadly a pattern right now but yet another large company seeking me out, using up my time, all to no end. Maybe they were just after my current package details; who knows?
What a shower.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vodafone (Unterföhring)
Interview
- I talked to two persons from the data science team
- The focus of questions was clearly on statistics
- I was disappointed that it was not possible to get to know any further team members. In fact, the team apparently sits in a building other than the building where the interview took place
- Although the interviewers tried to be open, I did not really understand how working in the team might be like
