I worked with Kari and she's by far the best recruiter I've ever worked with! Throughout the interview process, she made sure I know what to expect going into the interview; she also made sure to pass on feedback after each interview. She also went above and beyond to find me a role at Upwork that is the perfect fit for me. Unfortunately, it didn't work out in the end, but I really enjoyed working with her and meeting all the amazing people throughout the process.
The interview process consists of the following -
1. Recruiter call
2. Interview with hiring manager
3. Onsite with people on the team
4. Last round with senior leaders
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It's mostly behavioral in nature. There were some product scenario questions here and there, such as what would you do to improve this product area (it tends to be related to the role you are interviewing for). There was also an analytical case question during the onsite round.
First up was the typical recruiter screen. In addition to screening questions, they also aggressively discussed compensation upfront. The next step was the hiring manager interview, followed by a round of interviews with potential peers.

Question 1
Are you willing to accept our actual salary range (the bottom of what was advertised) and stock (which was worth less than they stated because they do shenanigans with the valuation)?
The interview process went really well. I took part in a few stages of interviews: screening, tech task call and culture fit meeting. Everything went pretty well. During the screening stage I was asked a few basic questions as well as salary expectations. During the test task I was completing the assignment together with some manager. During the culture fit we talked about my background and the role in general.
It was organized and all are done in UpWork with proper scheduling. The flow of interview are okay and it was a productive one and for any questions you might have the interviewer are knowledgeable with the answers.
