I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Pittsburgh, PA) in Oct 2016
Interview
After the phone screen with the recruiter, I was given a technical screen. This technical screen was unlike anything I have ever encountered. Despite applying for a position specific to AI, I was asked questions on various other Computer Science topics, which has little to no relevance to the job position. This included questions on cybersecurity, networking, databases, and file structure. After this round, I moved forward to project round. I was given a week to work on a project which likely would have taken over 20 hours. At this time, I declined to move forward in the process
