I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2020
Interview
Extremely disappointed with Uber. Had a connect with the recruiter in Dec 2020 who mentioned that I would be a good candidate and asked me to send my availability. Sent that the same day and then followed up twice. Just crickets. Really disappointed. I dont know what was going on the recruiter's or hiring manager's mind but seems like they do not care about candidates at all. THIS IS JUST HORRIBLE...
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Uber (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2020
Interview
HR initial round- Telephonic round with hiring manager- all day 4 hrs. interview- Offer
4 hours interview was intense and all questions were repeated more or less. The HR representative was nice and ensure enough communication was done prior to the interview and level set the expectations

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Uber in Oct 2020
Interview
Cold application via Uber website. The HR person reached out 48 hrs later to schedule an interview. I had read the bad reviews on here for the hiring process, but I figured that I would give it a shot anyway as the position was interesting.
It was via zoom and it was the worst interview experience in my life. The HR person was entirely disorganized. The questions were being asked from a sheet (which was fine), but the HR person didn’t conceptually understand the response and she kept repeating herself as if I wasn’t answering the question. I ended the interview as quickly as possible because it was clear that this isn’t the company for me. Quite honestly, I am shocked that Uber would employ someone like that. This was for a position in London.
