I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2016
Interview
Very demanding process. I had a phone interview, data analytics test, a skype interview, in office interview, and then another phone interview. Each round had questions about Uber operating as a business focusing on drivers.

Question 1
Think about how Uber works in cities from a driver perspective and how to manage everything as a company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Uber (Estocolmo, ) in Nov 2016
Interview
Got contacted by recruiter through LinkedIn and scheduled a call. The call was about 20 min and involved her describing the position and me asking some questions. We agreed that I go straight to the analytics assessment test.
The job description sounded like I would need to communicate with drivers a lot. However the position was in Sweden and I do not speak any Swedish. So after the interview I send a follow up question asking if she is absolutely sure that I fit the job description due to my language skills. On what she sent me an "oops" email saying that she will next time make sure to include language in the job add.
I have never seen that job add because I was approached, and my LinkedIn profile describes my language skills very clear. So it felt very unprofessional and like waste of time.

Question 1
How comfortable are you with data analysis, since its the core of the job
Quantitative test -> HR interview -> 1 + 4 operational interviews
Three important aspects : cultural fit (supplier relationships, regulations, price cut ... be sure to understand Uber positions), analytical questions (the team is mostly from engineer schools so don't underestimate their expectations) and don't forget the job is all about supply (so forget about the demand and the marketing actions).
