I submitted resume through a job posting. The process took less than a week. I interviewed at Uber in October 2018.

They took less than a week to contact me back . There was a skype interview, and the manager asked me few basic questions mainly how my experience fits in Job description they've addressed on the site. And how my education and skill sets would fit into this postion. There was detailed explanation on the postion and expected qualities.
The process involved multiple rounds, spanning system design, data structures and algorithms, and behavioral questions. They expect thorough knowledge and solution and answer. Asked relating to resume to explain some projects also.

There was a lot of focus on graphs questions in DSA round. System design was for Low Level Design. Standard behavioural questions.
Interview have 5 rounds, 2 medium, 2 system design, and the behavior interview. The whole process includes lots of technique staff. Need to be prepared, like practice coding on platforms like LeetCode
