I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at UST (Bengaluru) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview was scheduled by a consultancy for the role of Java Springboot Developer with Microservices. There was a 1st technical interview scheduled for 30 minutes but lasted 1 hour. The interviewer was friendly and asked around the most obvious topics for 7+ years of experience.
Broad level topics: Core Java, Multithreading, Collections, Java 8 concepts and a program. Spring family- Core, MVC, Boot, microservices, security. Rest.
However, after the interview HR never came back and I feel this is very unprofessional. I followed with the UST HR, but they never replied. I contacted consultancy HR, they also have not received my feedback from UST.
I have read about UST, regarding this issue and many people who interviewed share similar experience.
My two cent to UST HR - Provide proper feedback to candidates whether negative or positive. Show same level of proactiveness before and after the interview. You are losing out on good candidates as well as your reputation. I will suggest people to keep UST in their lowest priority .
