Interview
The process was a long one, probably three months in total. I started with a phone interview with the recruiter, followed by several phone interviews with peers and subordinates to the role. When I was asked to come for an in-person interview, it was shorter than I imagined. I think I only interviewed with four people, and was done before lunch. TripAdvisor was very professional, paid for my flight and other travel expenses, etc.

Interview process was well organized. HR team was great at giving insights into the position and some of expectations, and at helping prep for the process.
On site experience was good as well, in very nice (and brand new) offices.
The reason for the neutral review - and something that I feel is unacceptable, frankly - is that the company is somehow not reimbursing for travel expenses (even though they are technically reimbursing them). Basically there is some sort of breakdown in their process where travel expenses are not being processed. 4 months after an interview, it would be nice to get these reimbursed, even if it's just under $100. Should anyone work for a company that cannot figure out travel expenses - in the travel industry space???
