Toptal Freelance Digital Designer interview questions

This may be the most difficult and confusing interview i ever had! Initially, the interviewer asked me the work experience and described the projects to test out if i used the right tenses and grammar. That's unbelievable!! Thought i was getting in a Harvard interview or what. Secondly, asking about why i like to do design, seemed like a simple question but fool me at all time. Suddenly, the interviewer stopped me sharply and told me all those unreasonable feedbacks, i.e. use the wrong tenses and grammar, not passed the communication test. Recommended me to practice with professional tutors while my application has been paused for 6 months. P.S. I'm signing up for a role which from Germany, not USA. Wouldn't expect an IELTS band score 9 needed. Good luck to whom wanna apply in the future.
