I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TikTok
Interview
The recruiter was friendly and responsive. But the interview with hiring manager was awful. The said manager turned off their video during a Zoom interview, and kept asking why I was not a Tiktok user. It felt like the manager never took a look at my resume, and once she found out I didn't have B2C experience, she lost interest. Had she looked at my resume, it would have saved both of us 45 mins. I got an automated email within 2 hours after the interview that I was rejected, albeit cold, I appreciate the effectiveness. :p From what I gathered from the interview, the company seems to be poorly run, there are no company goals, people seem to be building features just for the sake of building, which pretty much echoed a lot of the reviews.
