I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TikTok (Londres, Inglaterra) in Oct 2025
Interview
Applied, had an initial call with HR - he didn’t seem to understand the role or my answers and then ghosted me, I even followed up by email to ask when I’d hear back and was ignored - not great
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you had to manage multiple stakeholders
5 Rounds 1) With Recruiter 2) Hiring Manager 3) Hiring Manager's Manager 4) Department Head 5) HR Business Partner Interviews 3-5 were done late at night due to those people being in China;45 minutes each. Questions were very case study oriented with little to no reactions to the answers that were provided. Even though this is a Finance role, there were questions about TikTok KPIs, Target market etc. so you need to know TikTok in and out. They also said it's a rule that they cannot give feedback. After 5th round, I waited 2.5 weeks only to be told I didn't get the role. All of this should be a clear indicator of how this company operates.

Question 1
Can you list KPIs of TikTok and what may help drive revenue up? If you were CEO, and you wanted to expand TikTok, how would you go about doing so? You have 3 products, Product A making up 30% being the cheapest costing for consumers but selling the least, Product B making up 15% being the most expensive but selling the most, and Product C making up 55%, being in between the two. How would you balance this within a company?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at TikTok (Singapur) in Apr 2023
Interview
Quick turnaround by the recruiter. Interviewer asked mainly technical questions that are relevant to my previous role. The interviewer was speaking in 95% Mandarin. Was told during the screening call it's okay if my mandarin is not that good. You can try if your mandarin proficiency is gr8.
