I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (Singapur) in Mar 2024
Interview
Messy internal structure, manager seems to not being able to communicate in fluent English despite being the head of one of the global team with employees from all over the world
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok in Dec 2023
Interview
TikTok does not respect candidates. I underwent interviews for 2-3 roles and they kept changing their mind if they had headcount or not. First told me they had no headcount, then contacted me and said they had headcount, went through the whole interview process, positive feedback, was about to get an offer as we were negotiating the package and benefits. Then last minute I was informed that there was no headcount. The same thing happened for another role I interviewed for.
4-5 rounds: usually HR screen, technical test interview with hiring manager, 2 stakeholder interviews.
