I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (San Mateo, CA) in Dec 2021
Interview
There were only 2 rounds, one on the phone and one in person. Pretty standard questions about future and background. After the in person, they make you take an assessment to test your ability to use programs
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesla in Sep 2022
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter after applying through Indeed, and asked a few standard questions. I was told that they wanted to offer me an interview, and gave me study materials and guides on what they were looking for from a prospective candidate. After about a week, I went in for my interview; there were six of us interviewing at the same time (although it wasn't a group interview), and we all met with individual interviewers spread throughout the same room. The first part of the interview took about 15 minutes and involved a super basic general computer use assessment (an example of a task they asked me to perform was, "are you able to clear your internet browser's cookies and history?") coupled with a typing test. After completing this portion of the interview, I was asked questions regarding why I wanted to work at Tesla, past work scenarios and how I handled them, etc. The last portion of the interview regarded a practical assessment to gauge the accuracy of my ability in what my daily job function would consist of. Although I was not offered a position (most likely due to the last portion of the interview *cough* *cough*), I do regard this experience as a positive one! Everyone was professional and I genuinely feel like I was given a strong opportunity to be prepared for every stage of the interview.

Question 1
Thinking back to a scenario at a current or previous employer, what was a time where things did not go as planned, and how did you handle the situation?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2020
Interview
One phone screening and one onsite interview. Phone interview is gauging interest while onsite is more in depth of the job and why you want to work for Tesla. I passed the phone interview and was scheduled for an onsite interview the following week.
