I interviewed at Tesco (Luton, East of England, England)
Interview
It was easy and straight forward. What do they do, products competitors.. Etc and its an normal interview. Stayed with them for a while. Let's see what happens next. But I am doing well and I am successful.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Tiverton, South West England, England) in Feb 2024
Interview
A short, "strengths based" type of interview that the interviewer would score afterwards. Interviewer was pleasant but disinterested at the end of a full day of interviewing. They'll want you to use, lengthy, relevant examples in all of your answers, even if they don't say that. I made the mistake of just answering the questions a couple times and was only offered temp work, despite applying for 6 permanent positions, with 18 years of relevant experience.

Question 1
Tell me about when you've gone above and beyond for a customer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Corstorphine, Scotland) in May 2023
Interview
The strangest interview process I have ever been involved in. Over 20 people were invited to an interview at the same time, supposedly for a number of jobs being offered with different hours and across different departments. The whole thing was so disorganised and disjointed that it did not feel like an interview at all. The process consisted of filling out a health questionnaire and availability table, followed by three questions being asked to the whole room. The interviewers went around the room until everyone had given an answer to the question - which I found extremely bizarre and resembling someone being examined at school. No questions were asked about experience or how anyone would be a good match for the position - we were told the selection would be based on our availability. Totally unprofessional in my opinion.
