I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Chesterfield, England) in Dec 2025
Interview
Got a call asking my availability about the job I had applied to on the website. Later got an email to upload right to work documents and then one saying to book interview.
Then I rocked up to the interview all confident and ready to get hired... Until I realised they made it a group interview without informing anyone. I hadn't prepared for a group interview so I was a bit distraught and shy, didn't get the job though, probably because there were two other people who stood out really well and had loads of experience.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesco (Bicester, England) in Oct 2024
Interview
Thirty minutes one to one in person with a Department Manager. It was not formal. Interviewer was polite and friendly. They shook my hand upon meeting and again when saying goodbye.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Loughborough, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
Was a group interview and there was about six of us. Two of the managers sat opposite to us and asked us questions. Everyone was expected to answer but you chose when you would i.e. they would pick you to answer next. I found this better as you could think of your answer for a bit longer. Then they split us up into two group and we had to build a six ft tower out of paper and sellotape. It also had other requirements like be environmentally friendly, have a team flag etc.
