I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2020
Interview
The interview was formal and professional. There were a few other candidates waiting as well but overall this was a one on one interview and not a group. The questions were typical team-related questions and how you work best or prioritize your tasks.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Target
Interview
They ambush you by having three people inside the room at the same time during the interview. After the interview, they say they’ll give you a tour around the store but they never mention it is part of the interview process. They expect that during the tour, you should notice misplaced items and trash they place themselves around the store to test you. No matter how well prepared you are, not even if you have a college degree, if you don’t notice things during the “store tour test” they will not hire you. Even worse, if you ask if there is grow opportunities within the company they will instantly freak out and see you as a threat.
