I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Naperville, IL) in Oct 2020
Interview
The current interview process is flawed, however I understand why they are implementing this way in light of COVID-19. My interview with Target was not with an individual, but with a virtual interviewing software. I was give. 30 seconds to read and ponder the question, and two minutes to reply. All of this is recorded on video. I had the option to re-record my answers prior to submitting. The downside to this process is that there is no feedback loop. It is as if you are recording a Facebook or Instagram live video but without comments and reaction buttons. You have no idea how you are doing or if your in the right track, and Target as no way to clarify or dig in on some of your answers. This impersonal way of operating was surprising to me, because Target comes off as a warm organization.

I interviewed at Target (Harlingen, TX) in Oct 2019
Interview
Very easy. In the first part they just wan to know about you and they ask you general questions about previous jobs and they give you scenarios. The second interview was with whatever department they think you fit best. That interview is very smooth they pretty much give you all these scenarios and you just answer what is the best possible solution.
Followed their online process, got an email to set up interview, showed up and answered basic questions like experience and why I want to work there. Afterwards they will show you around.
