I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Dearborn Heights, MI) in May 2014
Interview
The interview was easy. Although it was 3 years ago, I remember it. Had an initial phone interview, asked simple questions like why do I want to work there, do I like working with people, etc. Nothing to worry about and nothing you can't answer. Next had an in-person interview with a manager. Went into the store, told guest service I was there for interview, went upstairs, met with manager. They ask you questions off of a sheet, a lot of "tell me about a time when" questions, but honestly, I can tell you from working here that you shouldn't worry if you dont have work experience. You can answer these questions with stories from life, or just be honest and say you have never experienced that, but if I did, I would ".....".
For those that are looking on here because they are afraid of interviews, please dont worry because I was too. You have to remember that the company mandates those questions are asked, however, they know that for a lot of people this is a first job. We have hired many people still in high school.
They are mainly just looking to see that you are a nice person that will show up to work willing to do your job. As long as thats you, have no worries!

I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Baytown, TX) in Jun 2014
Interview
Basically I was in the manger room and he sat me down. And began giving me all the details of the job and what to expect. I was really nervous given this was my first job, but he saw through that.
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Palmdale, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview was an average time. I felt that the interviewer was not interested in me based on the looks and facial expressions. I was not even given the chance to sell myself.
