I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Target (Champaign, IL) in Oct 2017
Interview
There was both a behavioral and technical aspect to the interview process. I was recruited from a college career fair and did not have to go out to Minneapolis for any stage of the interview. The technical questions themselves were not very difficult and focused on an ability to be analytical and recognizing mistakes (if any were made) rather than being technically proficient.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Madison, WI) in Feb 2018
Interview
Talked with a recruiter at an on campus career fair. Scheduled an in person interview with an engineer the following day. Basic questions about coding experience and personal projects. Technical question was to write pseudocode for a shopping cart class. Overall great interview experience. Good luck!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Mar 2015
Interview
After a phone screen based on personality, etc. I had a second phone call setup. This call was a phone based interview. It was exclusively a phone interview, and it was not very technical in nature at all.

Question 1
The most difficult question was actually "we would like to offer you a position, do you accept?" because I had other offers on the table.
