I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (San Diego, CA) in Oct 2012
Interview
4 Interviews - 2 Phone, 2 Face to Face. The first phone interview was basic. You just review your work history. The rest of the interviews are all situational based. They expect you to use the STAR method when answering your questions. Tell them what the situation was, what you did or your involvement, and the outcome. Have a positive attitude, and be quick and precise with your answers. You will be asked 6-8 questions per interview, and make sure to ask questions at the end.. Even if you don't have any, ask something.

Question 1
The questions are situational, which means they will start off with:
* Tell me about a time you have to give your supervisor bad news......
* Tell me about a time you questioned directions you were given.......
* Tell me about a time you dealt with an upset customer.......
* Tell me about a time when you had two employees working together who didn't get along..
* Tell me how you motivate your team....
* Once you've got your team motivated, how do you maintain their motivation........
* How would you explain your leadership style......walk me through a day in your shoes.....
Got the interview from a career fair. Met with one person who handled hiring and had a great conversation and had one other phone interview. Asked me relevant questions and I was excited about the role

Question 1
What do you think would make you a good fit for this role?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Target (Charlotte, NC)
Interview
It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
