I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Target (Manhattan Beach, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
I applied online and got a call about a month and half later for a quick phone interview. After that, I got another call to schedule my interview. I went in and was asked to wait in the training room for like 5-8 mins. One of the managers went to get me when she was ready and we went to her office. She was very nice and down to earth, it made me feel a little more relaxed and asked me a bunch of "if you were in a situation like... what would you do?" while jotting down notes.
At the end she said I would be a good fit and was offered a position right away.

Question 1
Mostly there were questions like "if something like ... happened what would you do?" and "what made you want to work at target?" also just a few questions about my past job and instances where I had done more than what was expected of me.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Target (Cherry Hill, NJ) in Sep 2014
Interview
very easy and understanding because it was my first job. Manager was very nice. Asked a couple questions but really wants to know more about you. Asked maybe 4 or so questions then lets you know if you're in or not.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (El Paso, TX) in Jul 2015
Interview
Was a bit hard to get an interview. I missed their first call, called back the next day and didn't get a call back until two weeks later. After that though, the interview and orientation came pretty fast, about within a week. However to even get to point, I had to play run around on the phone with them.
