I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Target in Jan 2015
Interview
Got a call from a recruiter, and she explained the job further to me. Asked me to tell her a bit about myself and why I wanted to work for Target. This is a really important question to them. Lasted about an hour. I think I have another two interviews to go before I get an offer for this position (still had to select if I got an offer or not).

Question 1
Nothing particularly difficult, just situation-based questions...
Tell me a time when you..... delivered exceptional customer service, or made a mistake, or used leverage to get a group to get something done in a timely manner. Really focus on the outcomes, use the STAR method.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Apr 2011
Interview
The interview process is difficult for any leadership position. There are set questions that are asked and they are all situational questions. Almost all of them begin with "Tell me about a time..." and you have to think of a specific situation and then paint them a picture. You should include the set up of the the situation, then the problem, then your actions for the solution, and finally the outcome.
It is really difficult to think of a specific situation that applies to you on the spot. There are several interviews and each interview is exactly like this...just different questions. I would say there are 3-4 of these situational questions in each interview. You also have your standard "why do you think you would be good for this job?" questions as well. Only about one of those.
On the opposite end of the interview...they are ranking how well you communicated your answer as well as what they think of the situation you presented. They will rank the complexity of the situation you picked for your answer to the question as well as if you took the right steps to resolve the problem. This is all on a scale of 1-10.

Question 1
Tell me about a time had to overcome a difficult situation with a co-worker.
The hiring interview process was a little unorganized. The call for the scheduled interview was not on time. The question ranged from a very broad topic so it was difficult to prepare for the questions. The interview process was not specifically laid out for the prospect. Overall not a good interview for the position.
